A series of simple pictures that depict the important changes of scene and action in a planned film or video production. In the production of an animated film, for example, a series of sketches, comparable to a comic strip, which outlines the narration of a scene - its visual and audio changes. Traditionally, these drawings are tacked to a bulletin board, arranged, rearranged and replaced as the story takes shape. Early rough storyboard drawings are thumbnail sketches, while more detailed drawings are called "finished" or "final storyboard panels." (
