Ursulina Stepan

About the Artist

Ursulina Stepan was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia in 1934, and received her registered nurse designation in that province in 1956.

She graduated from the University of Regina in 1980 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in printmaking. For many years Stepan taught classes to children and adults at Regina’s Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre, where she was printmaker in residence. Her works have been included in many group exhibitions and she has had solo exhibitions in most Canadian provinces.
